Holiday fun

Yesterday has been declared a national holiday and thus, there's no work among the offices. My nephew has invited me to go out for dinner with his girlfriend for the night which I happily accepted. I always enjoyed going out and exploring new places even though they scare me shitless. My nephew has decided to spend our evening at Bonifacio Global City. If you have read my previous entry, you would know that it is the place where my office is located.

We decided to meet at Market! Market!. It's a huge shopping mall. Then, we walked to the new and famous SM Aura and had dinner there. It was beautiful. Definitely a classy mall. Shops are high end and something I've never seen around in Cebu. Also, their food court doesn't seem like a food court because the shops in it are also those you would expect to be in a proper restaurant. Also, there's an area in the mall where the garden is on top. It's called a SkyPark, like a garden in the sky.

Our next stop was to walk around the Bonifacio High Street. It's a strip dotted with boutiques, restaurants and shops. It's considered a mall. As we were walking towards it, we noticed the moon was nestled between two building towers. It looked lovely!

A panorama of how the BGC looked liked at night.

We went to Jamba Juice and took a chill time after having a lot of strolling for the night.

After Jamba Juice, we went to have another food adventure! There's an area in BGC called Mercato. It is like a food expo with various food stalls of different variety of meals. I was able to try a new food last night which, well, to be honest, not my favorite.

Before I went home, I bought little cakes to bring back to my flatmates.

In the end, I had a pretty great night. It was something I would want to do again. Once I get salary, I would love to do another food adventure and go explore a new place.

Til next time!

xxx,
Herah
